Installation with 5-channel sound composition
(50 min loop)
Five glass plates hang on the walls of a room with the help of steel
rails – on the panes are sound exciters. Impulsively, sound expands from
them. Sometimes it is barely audible, but then it bundles into intense
soundscapes and stands loudly in the room, before the volume decreases
again or the sound abruptly breaks off. Next to the sound objects, there
are galvanized steel ladders on the walls. Over one of the rungs hangs
an artificial fur coat – on the floor stand black rubber boots. Between
two bench elements, another ladder is held in place by a tension belt.
Bat houses and nesting boxes for swallows are stacked on a pallet on the
floor. A space for imagined choreographies of absent living bodies.
